Prices of railway tickets on the route between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will increase from four to 20 percent depending on seat categories as of today, according to the Vietnam Railway Corporation.


With the hike, there will be seven different prices on the route to and from the two metropolises. The new ticket charges exclude food services, except passengers who had booked travel tickets prior to April 1 will be provided with meals free of charge as usual.
